About the Job : Our organization is seeking a talented Dimensional Calibration Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate for this role has experience calibrating instruments and equipment, creating calibration plans, and maintaining calibration records.
A successful candidate can prioritize tasks, adhere to company policies, and maintain proper documentation. The ability to calibrate various primary-level dimensional items is preferred.
With our new opportunity, you'll have the chance to work a consistent and convenient schedule Monday through Friday from 3 : OO pm to 11 : OO pm.
Responsibilities :
- Calibrate dimensional and torque measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, torque wrenches, and gauges.
- Develop, document, and maintain calibration procedures for new and existing equipment.
- Perform routine inspections, testing, and adjustments as required.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in accordance with company standards.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to resolve calibration-related issues.
Experience :
- Required : 1+ year of calibration experience, particularly with dimensional and torque instruments.
- Preferred : Experience in a technical or manufacturing environment.
Tools / Software :
- Experience with calibration software such as Indysoft is a plus.
- Familiarity with using precision measurement tools and equipment.
Skills :
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong customer service skills.
