Overview
The Supply Chain Risk Management Analyst will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and security of the supply chain for defense technologies.
Their contributions will be pivotal in advancing defense capabilities and ensuring the successful deployment of critical missile systems.
This role is essential for managing risk to mission effectiveness by identifying, assessing, and mitigating threats, vulnerabilities, and disruptions to the Department of Defense supply chain, maintaining the integrity of products and ensuring the undisrupted flow of materiel and information throughout the weapon system lifecycle.
This position is contingent on award.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain supply chain policies and standard operating procedures or frameworks.
- Assess system and component criticality, map supply chains, identify critical suppliers, assess supply chain threats and vulnerabilities, conduct risk identification and mitigation, and monitor mitigation effectiveness throughout the acquisition lifecycle.
- Participate in supply chain risk management Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) consisted of a diverse background of subject matter experts.
- Support the review of contract packages, ensuring alignment with DoD SCRM requirements. Ensure that contracts include SCRM objectives and foster contractual mechanisms to protect against potential supply chain risks.
- Oversee and verify that DIB partners adhere to all contractual requirements, legal regulations, mandates, and industry standards.
- Continuously monitor the supply chain for new or imposed risks, threats, and vulnerabilities.
- Support efforts adjacent to SCRM, including program protection planning, anti-tamper planning, diminishing manufacturing sources and material shortages planning, obsolescence planning and management, and cybersecurity impacts on SCRM.
- Maintain awareness of emerging threats and best practices related to supply chain risk management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or a related field with a minimum of 12 years of experience, or a Master's and 10 years of experience.
- This position requires the selected candidate have an active DoD Secret clearance.
- Familiarity with System Security Engineering methods and practices, Anti-Tamper planning and implementation, and Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM).
- Proven ability to decompose and analyze weapon systems, with a specialized focus on Information Communication Technology (ICT) components and infrastructure.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Trusted Systems and Networks (TSN) analysis, SCRM principles, and the Department of Defense (DoD) Risk Management Framework (RMF).
- Ability to independently and collaboratively contribute to program protection working groups consisting of System Engineers, Cyber Security, Traditional Security, Anti-Tamper Evaluation Team, and SCRM representatives.
- Experience in project management processes and procedures, systems analysis, preferably in the defense or aerospace industry.
- Knowledge of project management methodology and proficiency in project management tools.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to inspire and motivate teams.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
