Nursing Assistant/CNA/PCA

Job Overview :

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated CNA or PCA to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of personal care.

You will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and comfort of our clients. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.

Duties :

Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Remind or administer medication as directed by RN
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
Assist with mobility and transfers, if applicable
Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as meal preparation, laundry, and tidying up
Maintain accurate documentation and records on phone app
Follow care plans and instructions provided by AMADA
Provide assistance with behavioral health management
Assist with catheter care, if required
Support clients receiving hospice care, if applicable

Skills :

Previous experience in homecare is preferred
Knowledge of caregiver practices
Familiarity with Dementia management techniques
Proficient in providing catheter care, if necessary
Strong caregiving skills with a compassionate approach
Understanding of hospice care principles and practices when taking on hospice client,if applicable
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to provide patient-centered care in various settings, including hospice care when applicable
