Responsibilities :
VP, Digital Marketing / eCommerce will be responsible for owning the DTC. P&L, defining, and executing the growth strategies for the brand.
This is a critical role will provide the overall Commercial strategy, TechStack, Performance marketing, CRM, Customer Service and agency management for the brand to drive aggressive, sustainable and profitable growth.
This role will build, manage, and drive all E-Commerce functions, including programming strategy, performance marketing mix, infrastructure development, budgeting & forecasting, technology enhancements, product strategy, and digital customer experience.
Strategic Planning
- Long term growth strategies with P&L ownership
- Develop strategic and tactical plans, including product planning, promotional programs, and larger roadmap for growth while enhancing profitability for both DTC and Amazon
- Oversee & optimize performance marketing and paid media activities (specifically, conversion)
- Drive first-class digital experience across all ,com touchpoints, aligned with brand positioning and experience framework
Performance Marketing
- Oversee 360 performance marketing programs, including paid media, search, email & SMS marketing, affiliate marketing, and other emerging performance channels.
- Amazon : Oversee Retail Media investments to drive growth, optimize profitability (ROAS)
Budget Planning & Forecasting
- Develop annual P&L, budget, volumes & sales goals
- Perform regular sales forecasting & support annual budgeting process
- Ensure established growth plans & sales goals are met, or exceeded
- Drive 3-year growth planning and forecasting for company's ecommerce channels
Analytics & Reporting
- Monthly P&L & profitability analysis to maintain healthy profit margins
- Regularly track & report on progress of sales goals & maintain budget
Growth Planning
- Ongoing analysis & optimization of content in the shopping funnel
- Revamp upsell / cross-sell tools / communications to increase AOVs
- Stepped up efforts to optimize CLV, including driving repeat purchase, targeted remarketing, improved segmentation strategies, and continued Rewards Program optimization and communications
- Further customer acquisition strategies.
- Oversee SEO strategy and planning, including project-based and ongoing SEO efforts that may span technical optimizations as well as on and off-site content initiatives
- Resource & infrastructure planning to sustain growth (e.g., agency partners, vendors, customer service, warehouse, etc.)
Site Experience Strategy
- Drive large-scale site enhancements that offer more personalized consumer experience (e.g., Personalization, Live Chat etc.)
- Evolved story-telling and creative execution on site to bridge content / commerce digital experience
- Lead development & launch of key landing pages to support product launches and fuel category growth
