Position Overview : We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team in Darien, GA. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students with diverse learning needs and a commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning styles and needs of students.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure student success.
- Utilize a variety of instructional strategies, materials, and technology to engage students in learning.
- Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and progress towards IEP goals.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Special Education or related field (Masters degree preferred).
- Valid Special Education teaching certification / license in the state of Georgia.
- Experience working with students with a range of disabilities.
- Strong understanding of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
