About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse Job Specialty : PCU (Progressive Care Unit) Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night 3x12-Hour (18 : 30 - 07 : 00) Guaranteed Hours : Option of 36 or 48 hours per week Experience : 2 years required License : Valid RN license or Compact RN license required Certifications : BLS and ACLS required, CPI preferred Must-Have : Cardiovascular experience required Job Description : Work in the Progressive Care Unit, specifically in the Heart Hospital setting.
- Provide high-quality patient care during night shifts.- Manage a patient ratio of 1 : 4.- Participate in a rotating weekend schedule as needed.
- Be prepared to float to similar units within the facility as required.- No on-call requirement.- Block scheduling opportunities discussed on a case-by-case basis.
- Use EPIC for documentation purposes.- Scrub color is any, with no logo.- Be present for a brief orientation and required modules onsite.
- Modules are billable, with an average completion time of 4-6 hours for RNs.- Facility has 55 beds on the unit.- First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
- Submission includes a requirement of 50-mile local radius criteria, with locals not accepted.- Compliance with COVID-19 and flu vaccination policies is currently unknown.
