About The Position
Job Title : Adult Services RN Job Specialty : Medical / Surgical (Med / Surg) Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 12-hour shifts, 07 : 00 AM to 07 : 30 PM Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Experience : 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience License : Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided) Certifications : Basic Life Support, ACLS Must-Have : Graduate of an accredited nursing program Job Description : Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in a medical / surgical setting.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and reports.
- Perform assessments and monitor vital signs while recognizing changes in health status.- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and follow protocols.
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions and post-hospital care.- Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
- Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills in patient care decisions.- Act as a resource and mentor to junior staff and nursing students.
