Summary :
Provide clinical support to patients in the physician practice under the supervision of the physician. Provides continuity and appropriate care to patients.
1. Ability to operate or learn to operate the following equipment : Pulse Ox, Ear Syringe, Cryosurgery Instruments, EKG machine, Nebulizer, Portable O2 tank.
Knowledge and skills to provide age appropriate care to patients.
2. Ability to administer or learn to administer vaccines and injectable medications.
3. Proficient with Electronic Health Records.
4. Phlebotomy skill requested
5. Ability to operate basic lab equipment, perform and document results
6. Obtain prior authorization of medications, testing and procedures
7. Knowledge of current vaccine schedule designated by CDC

Required Education :
High School Diploma or GED is required within 30 days of hire
Required Certification :
Certified Medical Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant
Must have current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS within 30 days of hire
Experience working in a family care or internal medicine practice, Preferred
