Responsibilities

  • Responsible for operating all routine radiographic equipment safely and proficiently
  • Produce high-quality radiographs with a minimum of repeats
  • Handle multiple room assignments and different types of exams on a daily basis
  • Demonstrate knowledge of contrast media injections and reactions
  • Oversee duties assigned to student radiographers
  • Handle telephone scheduling procedures and operate the PACS computer system

Qualifications

Job Requirements :

  • Graduate of an accredited two-year Radiologic Technology training program in a school approved by the Council of Medical Education of the AMA.
  • Registered or registry eligible with the ARRT
  • If registry eligible upon hire, you must become registered within one year of employment
  • Basic Life Support certification

Preferred Job Requirements :

  • Previous X-Ray Tech experience
