Position : Sr. Data Analyst / Power App Developer
Location : Huntsville, AL
Schedule : Full-Time / Exempt
Position Description :
Gray Analytics is seeking a Sr. Data Analyst / Power App Developer for a government project office addressing Army Air and Missile Defense systems, with focus on Mission Command systems.
Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with operations, business management analysts, and other directorates to build data analytics outputs and knowledge management components for an Army Project Office.
- Use a variety of platforms, tools, and financial management systems to create a data analytics environment, using Power BI, for use across all levels of the Project Office.
- Responsible for the end-to-end process of gathering initial requirements, data source capture, and data modeling to develop Power BI Reports with advanced data visualizations.
- Administrate, maintain, and sustain the Power BI-based environment hosted by the Army.
- Analyze existing business processes, information workflow, data storage, and control procedures to identify opportunities for increased efficiencies and process improvement
- Create Power Apps to optimize staffing and other internal operational processes within the Project Office, as well as creating SharePoint interfacing and automation solutions by designing, developing, and maintaining custom SharePoint forms, lists, workflows, repositories, and web parts
Basic Qualifications :
- Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Data Analytics, Data Science, or related field / equivalent experience with minimum three years related experience.
- Proven experience working with Microsoft Power BI or other data model and dashboard design software and implementation with data visualization best practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal team and customers within a video conferencing environment such as Microsoft Teams
- Strong organizational skills to prioritize and complete multiple projects
- A high degree of skill with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Publisher)
- Experience as a SharePoint Developer with training in access control
- The ability to work with minimum guidance in addressing actions, and then use knowledge, ingenuity, innovation and experience to complete the product.
- Excellent communication, collaborative and interpersonal skills
- Ability to take direction well and function independently
- Enthusiasm for working with and supporting a team
Desired Qualifications :
- JavaScript and / or JSON experience preferred
- Experience in HTML / CSS and CMS tools preferred
Other Requirements :
Candidate must be a US citizen and must be a resident of the Huntsville, AL area (or willing to relocate)
Security Requirements :
An active SECRET security clearance.
