Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Senior Contracts Specialist to support DoD Research & Development (DARPA) in Arlington, VA.
The team is seeking a dynamic skill set in contract negotiation, modifications, and grants that adhere to FAR / DFAR policies.
This is a HYBRID role requiring an active SECRET clearance .
Responsibilities of the Senior Contracts Specialist :
- Preparing and administering terms and conditions for contracts that contribute to national security objectives.
- Collaborating in contract negotiation efforts, analyzing proposed costs, and evaluating pricing strategies.
- Modifying with precision and proficiency.
- Conducting in-depth analysis of procurement policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
- Preparing and maintaining essential contract file documentation according to FAR, DFARS, and related regulations.
Qualifications of the Senior Contracts Specialist :
- 8+ years of experience with government contracts
- MUST HOLD ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE
- Experience implementing DoD FAR / DFARs policies and regulations
- Experience with government procurement and cost analysis experience
- DoD experience desired
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
Compensation for the Senior Contracts Specialist :
- Salary Range : $100,000 - $160,000 per year flexible based on experience level
- Full Benefits : PTO, Paid Holidays, Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, etc.
- Long-term contract supporting DARPA
- REMOTE 4x / week
