What to Expect (Job Responsibilities) :

  • Oversee the setup and implementation of cash, voucher, and in-kind distribution programs in emergency responses
  • Manage relationships with local partners, international agencies, and stakeholders for effective program delivery
  • Ensure full project cycle management for distribution processes in diverse emergency settings
  • Monitor market conditions and adjust program modalities as necessary
  • Lead and mentor program staff to enhance team performance and achieve objectives

What is Required (Qualifications) :

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in international studies, economics, or a relevant field
  • Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in development program management and international relief
  • Demonstrated experience in cash, voucher, and in-kind distributions in emergency settings
  • Strong understanding of program design and proposal development related to cash and distribution programming
  • Ability to effectively manage diverse teams and communicate with stakeholders in challenging environments

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications) :

  • Pre-certification in PMD Pro or equivalent program management certification
  • Experience with compliance of USAID / BHA, FCDO, ECHO, and other humanitarian funded programs
  • Knowledge of Sphere standards and training in humanitarian response
  • Experience working in insecure environments and managing risks effectively
  • Commitment to obtaining internationally recognized qualifications in project or program management
