BLUEHAWK, LLC is seeking a Technical Writer to join our team to support Government activities in Annapolis Junction, . As a Technical Writer supporting the Government, you will be trusted with providing technical writing support to document all program deliverables, functions, processes, and accreditation efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing, reviewing, revising, and maintaining technical documents including software and systems engineering, system operations, testing, user documentation, etc.
  • Writing and editing technical documentation for all the project's hardware and software requirements to include installation, configuration, and how-to documentation.
  • Producing implementation guides and end-user guides for capabilities; providing field, data definition, and data flow documentation and formatting technical
  • publications from pamphlets, technical drawings, and consultations with technical personnel and other available resources
  • Standardizing documentation by creating and implementing templates for all document types.
  • Providing technical writing support to document all Infrastructure Services deliverables, functions, processes, and accreditation efforts.
  • Maintaining document library to enable ease of document storage, retrieval, updates, and reviews.
  • Participates in special projects as required

Qualifications

  • BS and 6 years of experience
  • Active TS / SCI with the ability to obtain a CI Polygraph
  • Effective communication skills
  • Knowledge of the principles and practices involved in technical research, writing, and editing.
  • Knowledge of and ability to use various word-processing and desktop publishing software applications.
  • Knowledge of the organization's products and services, customer requirements, purpose and structure of required documentation, and end user's level of understanding.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office Suite
