Staffmax Healthcare is seeking a Behavioral Psychology Social Worker to work in Southgate, MI.

Requirements :

• Minimum of 2 years of current experience Behavioral Psychology Social Worker unless otherwise discussed by recruiter.
• MI license is required

Any candidate that has applied directly is not eligible to beonboarded through and agency.Must have a minimum of a Master’s degree in Social Work Psychology or Counseling and possess the corresponding State of Michigan licensure Candidates without a state license can be considered but must obtain state licensure LLMSW LLPC TLLP LMSW LPC or LLP within a 60-day training period beginning on the date of hire.

This period may be extended by up to an additional 60 days of training at the sole discretion of the employer. Failure to obtain licensure within the training period will result in the employee being unqualified to perform work functions.

Beyond the training period all state licensure must continually remain active in effect and free from disciplinary action.

Candidates must obtain the Qualified Mental Health Professional credential within 120 days of hire. Must possess a CAADC credential or be on an active approved registered MCBAP certification Development Plan within six weeks of hire.

Must have one year of experience may include time spent in fieldwork or internship treating or working with people who have been diagnosed with mental illness and substance use disorders.

Additional requirements include : cultural competency the ability to work effectively with a diverse population the ability to engage and maintain therapeutic relationships with individuals and families in a variety of modes of treatment the ability to develop collaborative relationships with other unit staff and providers and a willingness to be flexible.

Cannot accept candidates who are on student / work visas and / or require sponsorship to work in the U.S. at this time.

Prior to start date you will need the following sent to the recruiter and credentialing :

• Resume without time gaps and education notated.
• References from 2 supervisors in past year (updated yearly).
• Two forms of ID; one must be a photo ID
• Photo for Badge ID without filters on white background
• Immunization Documentation; Covid, Flu (current season), HEP B, MMR, TDaP, Varicella
• Current Yearly Physical
• TB TEST; Two step or Quantiferon as requested by facility.
• BLS and any other certifications required of professional : AHA Preferred and often required
• Skills Checklist and Competency Exams
• Background Check and Urine Drug Screens are ordered after receiving job offers
• Credentialing will require other documentation.
• Must be fully credentialed prior to start date.
