About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse Job Specialty : Medical Surgical Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day 3x12-Hour (06 : 30 - 19 : 00) Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : 2 years required License : Valid NM or Compact RN license required at the time of submission Certifications : BLS required, CPI preferred Must-Have : - Documentation in EPIC- Open to floating within the scope as needed- Ability to work 6 weekend shifts within a 6-week period- Scrub color of choice (as long as there is no hospital logo) Job Description : - Provide comprehensive nursing care on the Medical Surgical unit- Manage patient ratios of 1 : 6- Support the unit with 32 beds effectively- Participate in a brief orientation upon arrival- Complete modules onsite as part of the orientation process- Welcome to first-time travel nurses- Adhere to module timings, approximately 4-6 hours for RNs- Follow scheduling policies with possible block scheduling on a case-by-case basis- Responsible for maintaining patient safety and quality care standards
