Location : Edinburgh, IN
Job Type : Full-Time
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement life skills-focused IEPs.
- Teach self-care, social skills, communication, and daily living activities.
- Adapt lessons to meet individual needs.
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and educators.
- Assess and monitor student progress.
- Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment.
- Use diverse teaching methods to engage students.
- Participate in professional development.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Special Education or related field (Masters preferred).
- Valid Special Education teaching certification in Indiana.
- Experience in life skills education for special needs students.
- Knowledge of special education laws and best practices.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Patience, empathy, and passion for special needs education.
