The Marketing Analytics and Business Insights (MABI) team supporting AbbVie’s US Commercial organization is 200+ members strong and growing every day.

AbbVie Neuroscience encompasses Vraylar, Qulipta, and Ubrelvy as well as future brands in the AbbVie portfolio. The Associate Director, Marketing Analytics, will develop and deploy analytic solutions based on business needs across the Neuroscience Franchise to pull through brand strategy and tactics at a national and sub-national level.

This position’s primary objectives :

lead the development of a comprehensive Data Lake, Liveramp Safe haven, Reporting, Measurement (Marketing Mix Centralized solution, Omni Channel Data, Digital marketing Analysis) for the Neuroscience portfolio.

Major Responsibilities :

  • Lead the development of a comprehensive Data Lake, Liveramp Safe haven, Reporting, Measurement (Marketing Mix Centralized solution, Omni Channel Data, Digital marketing Analysis) for the Neuroscience portfolio.
  • Partnered with Digital Brand Team, Brand, Brand MABI and center MABI teams to identify key business use cases and enhancing the effectiveness of omni marketing efforts
  • Lead the centralization of marketing data across media, consumer promotions, and other channels, addressing data inconsistencies and quality issues.

Implemented automated validation processes to ensure long-term data integrity, significantly improving analytics and decision-making in omni marketing strategies.

  • Collaborated with multiple marking agencies, Providers to identify / review use cases impacting business outcomes.
  • Collaborated with center MABI to drive the development of Marketing Mix and Multi-Touch Attribution (MTA) Models. Streamlined data transfer processes and quality checks, ensuring accurate and timely model inputs and outputs.

Centralized data in a comprehensive database and designed a Dashboard to deliver actionable insights, enhancing decision-making

  • Implemented LiveRamp Safe Haven to analyze customer purchase behavior by integrating PTD, third-party datasets and generated internal audience for targeting / retargeting.
  • Build, coach, and maintain a high-performing and diverse team of analytical, quantitative, and business-minded individuals that collectively extract business insights that drives better business outcomes
  • Effectively work with cross-functional partners to deliver integrated analytics reflecting the diverse contributions across the functions
  • Lead contract support, and external suppliers to increase and enhance the use of advanced modeling and analytic methods and produce results that fully leverage available data and analytics

We are recruiting for talent in Chicago IL, Irvine CA or Florham Park NJ. Talent must be willing to commute into the office (3 days a week) in their applicable location (IL, CA, NJ).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, with a concentration in marketing / sales / quantitative analysis preferred. Advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in quantitative analysis of sales and marketing information is required, including use of this information in the development of business plans and strategies.

Experience within the Pharma / Biotech industry is a plus. 1-2 years people leadership experience is a plus.

  • Experience leading development of omni channel analytics platform in pharma (i.e. Liveramp Safe haven) and pulling through with digital brand leadership and IT operations
  • Advanced experience with 3rd party pharmaceutical data sources like IQVIA / SHS Sales Data (APLD, DDD, Xponent, NSP, NPA), and Specialty pharmacy data and one or multiple analytic domains (promo optimization, digital, launch support, etc.) required .
  • Deep hands-on expertise in current omni channel analytical methods & tools (machine learning, attribution modeling, marketing mix)
  • Advanced agility, project management and prioritization skills
  • Advanced vendor management skills
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively and to influence in a matrixed organization

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position.

Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.

This range may be modified in the future.
