The Denver Waldorf School (DWS) is seeking a qualified candidate to join our faculty and staff as Enrichment and Licensed Program Director.
The Enrichment Director is responsible for leading, organizing and managing the extended day program throughout the school year.
The Director has the ability to manage staff with clear expectations, the ability to work collaboratively with faculty and staff, and runs an exemplary enrichment experience that reflects a Waldorf education.
As the Licensed Program Director, this person is responsible for understanding CDHS Rules and Regulations for Childcare Centers and ensures that all licensing requirements are met for school age programs and early childhood programs.

Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to :
- Operations of extended day care
- Promotion of enrichment programs
- Curriculum planning and scheduling
- Hiring, training and supervision of extended care staff - including background check process
- Managing student registration and participation in the billing process
- Managing student health and safety
- Providing a caring, nurturing and inviting environment responsive to the emotional, social and physical needs of children
- Communicating with parents
- Managing budget, ordering supplies and healthy snack food
- Managing and maintaining extended care room, storage and kitchen
- Early Childhood Education (ECE) and School Age Childcare (SACC) Program licensing
- Ensuring ECE and SACC personnel have met all requirements and files are current
- Ensuring ECE and SACC students files are in compliance
- Working with our Licensing representative during visits and throughout the year to ensure the programs are in compliance with licensing regulations
- Maintain QRIS and PDIS ratings, trainings and personnel files
- Implementation and reporting of Denver Preschool Program
Requirements :
- Large Center Director’s License
- Experience working in childcare or school settings
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Familiarity with Waldorf philosophy and approach
