T&M Associates is currently seeking a highly motivated professional to expand our national Environmental Practice in our West Coast market.
This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, combining remote work with in-office collaboration. The successful candidate will be a seller-doer that is experienced in a wide range of environmental services, including but not limited to;
environmental compliance, air permitting, land use regulations, and / or remediation. Ideally, the candidate will have business contacts, be in a position to obtain business, and technically execute some of the work captured.
Responsibilities will include :
- Focus on Environmental Practice growth and collaboration between multiple operations nationally, development and expansion of a book of business, and experience with private industrial, Federal / State / Local clients.
- Execute various client projects. Support our Project Managers, Engineers, and Scientists in the planning, design, and execution of Environmental projects.
- Development of an annual business plan to deliver growth of the practice, expansion of services, increased revenue, and capture planning of opportunities.
- Leveraging relationships with former clients and building a backlog of business for the Practice.
- Experience in writing / leading technical and cost proposals, evaluating risks, and determining cost competitiveness in pursuits.
Dynamic management style in building a collaborative team. environment, providing career development for a wide range of staff, and identifying opportunities for staff to support projects between regions of the company.
Apply quality assurance and quality control processes, evaluate business risks, and provide alternatives.
Requirements :
- B.S in Civil or Environmental Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology, or related discipline from an ABET-accredited university.
- At least 15-20 years of environmental experience including but not limited to field investigations, remediation systems, pumping & well infrastructure, soil and groundwater treatment, waste management, remediation optimization, long-term operations and maintenance.
- Project experience and established relationships in strategic environmental consulting in the greater Southern California area.
- Multimedia environmental remediation programs or projects under various regulatory venues including RCRA, CERCLA, TSCA, and state-led programs.
Provide a National Client focus and strong business development skills, ability to transition existing clients.
- Background / general understanding of wetlands and land-use regulations and processes.
- Understanding of local, state, and federal design, permitting, and regulatory requirement.
- Some travel for business development and collaboration across offices may be required.
