Reporting to the Senior Director of Critical Care, the Nurse Manager Critical Care will be accountable for overseeing the 30+ bed Intensive Care Unit.
Responsibilities of the Nurse Manager Critical Care include overseeing day-to-day operations, updating policy procedures, ensuring state and regulatory compliance, and department staffing which includes scheduling, payroll, disciplinary action, evaluations, and assisting with the hiring process.
Additionally, the Nurse Manager ICU partners with the nurse educators to provide exceptional educational programs offered to new hires and current department staff.
The Nurse Manager Critical Care should have a clinical background working in critical care and / or ICU unit with prior clinical leadership experience.
Additionally, the Nurse Manager Critical Care should hold an active Registered Nurse license and Bachelor’s degree.
