Under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, the Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant assists the Occupational Therapist in the practice of occupational therapy to include development deficits, activities of daily living work conditioning, range of motion, coordination, balance endurance, cognition, and exercise programs to restore function and increase strength.
Your Responsibilities as a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Inpatient / Acute CarePrepare equipment for treatment and assist an Occupational Therapist with rehabilitative activities for patientsEstablish strong relationships with each patient so that they have ability to exceed their functional goalsDemonstrate a positive connection with patient, fellow clinicians, and other team members Build and maintain relationships throughout the communityQualificationsGraduate of an APTA or CAPTE approved physical therapist assistant programState LicensureBasic Life Support Certification via the American Heart AssociationSalary range for this position is $35 - $38 / hourExpanding Access to Quality CareAt PT Solutions, we’re more than colleagues;
