job_description.job_card.job_descriptionThe Director of Rehabilitation oversees the daily operations of the Rehabilitation and Respiratory departments, as well as cardiopulmonary, speech, PT, and OT The Director of Rehabilitation plans and administers medically prescribed occupational therapy treatment for patients suffering from injuries or muscle, nerve, joint, and bone diseases, working toward functional restoration, pain relief, and the prevention of disability Manage budgets, drive departmental goals, and lead quality improvement initiatives Contribute to the overall strategic goals and objectives of the organization or facility Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program Registered OT in KS, or the eligibility to obtain 3+ years of OT experience required 1+ years of Rehab leadership experience preferred Outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy the nearby trails and the serene landscapes of the peaceful park areas, ideal for hiking, fishing, and birdwatching The area is not too far from a variety of historical museums, restaurants, and shops to explore Affordable Cost of Living and minimal crime Great place to raise a family, or live a calm small-town life
