Description
Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent required
- medical training through a certificate program or at least 2 years experience as a medical assistant in a clinical setting, (Ex : clinical lab, physician's office, Emergency Medical Tech., etc.).
- Understanding of Medical Terminology required.
- Experience in one of the following areas is preferred : LPN, Lab, Radiology, Medical Assistant, Emergency Medical Technician, Physician Office, Scrub Tech.
- Knowledge of the following equipment : Ultrasound, automated sphygmomanometer, L Dex machine, wheel chair, and thermometers.
- Knowledge of scheduling for diagnostic tests and lab orders.
- Organizational skills.
- Oral and written communication and computer skills.
- Customer services skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, visitors, and coworkers.
- Ability to show proficiency by passing all written and clinical test.
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
