DEKA is looking for a PCB Rework Specialist who is a motivated self-starter, requires minimal direction, and works well within multi-disciplinary teams.
The individual will be working across several projects and must be able to communicate challenges and priorities effectively.
The individual must be able to multi-task while remaining composed and efficient in a rapidly changing engineering environment.
How you will make an impact :
- Electronic assembly and rework in an R&D environment
- Utilize specialized tools and equipment, such as soldering stations, microscopes, and multimeters, to perform precise rework tasks
- Skillfully rework and repair PCBs, including component replacement, solder touch-ups, and board-level modifications
- Carefully inspect PCBs for defects, such as damaged components, solder issues, and trace discontinuities.
- Assembly of cable assemblies
- Maintain a clean rework area and perform set-up / maintenance
Skills you will need to be successful in this role :
- Must have excellent PCB soldering / rework skills
- Great written and verbal communication skills
- Working knowledge of basic electronic components
- Familiar with CAD tools ( Pads, Altium, Solidworks) a plus
- Able to read and interpret basic electrical schematics and identify a part on PCB from a marked-up Schematic
- High school diploma
- Certified solder technician
- Experience with Microsoft Office
