Account Executive - Employee Benefits

This client company, a dynamic and growing insurance firm, is seeking a skilled and experienced professional for the position of Account Executive in the Employee Benefits division.
This role is crucial in managing larger groups, with a focus on preferred accounts.
The ideal candidate will bring expertise in self-funded, large account management and play a key role in delivering exceptional service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage and cultivate relationships with larger groups, focusing on preferred accounts.
- Provide expert guidance on employee benefits, particularly in the realm of self-funded and large accounts.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their unique needs and tailor solutions accordingly.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to ensure the satisfaction and retention of key accounts.
- Work closely with internal teams to deliver high-quality services and meet client expectations.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and innovations in the employee benefits space.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights and recommendations to enhance their benefits programs.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience as an Account Executive in the Employee Benefits space.
- Strong background in managing larger groups and preferred accounts.
- Expertise in self-funded and large account management is essential.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to understand and address client needs.
- Results-oriented with a focus on client satisfaction and retention.
Education :
Bachelor’s degree in business, Human Resources, or a related field.
Working Conditions :
- Hybrid role with two days in the office, based in Deerfield, IL.
- Regular collaboration with internal teams and client meetings.
