About the Role

As a TurboTax Live Seasonal Local Service Associate, you’ll work on-site at one of our TurboTax locations across the United States. You’ll provide expert tax preparation and advisory services, both in-person and virtually, using Intuit TurboTax products. Your role will be crucial in helping clients tackle everything from simple W2 filings to complex business income scenarios.

In this position, you’ll not only assist clients with their tax needs but also build long-term relationships and drive customer loyalty within your community. TurboTax will equip you with the tools and support you need to succeed!

What You’ll Do

  • Provide Tax Expertise : Offer hands-on tax advice and preparation services, ensuring clients maximize their refunds and minimize liabilities.
  • Be a Proactive Community Ambassador : Engage with your local community, nurture leads, and convert them into loyal clients through proactive outreach.
  • Educate and Communicate Confidently : Host engaging learning events and demystify taxes to make them accessible for everyone.
  • Build Relationships : Connect with clients on a personal level, demonstrating empathy and understanding of their financial concerns.
  • Deliver a Best-in-Class Customer Experience : Create exceptional experiences for clients, helping them achieve their financial goals.

    • Who You Are

  • Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
  • Minimum of 2 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season
  • Familiarity with Circular 230
  • Willingness to work a minimum of 24 hours per week at a TurboTax location
  • Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Associate
  • Bilingual (English / Spanish) communication skills are a plus
  • Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing
