This position reports to the Starbucks Manager and is classified as seasonal and as such is eligible for all seasonal employee perks including affordable employee housing!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare food and beverages to standard recipes or customized for customers, including recipe changes such as temperature, quantity of ingredients or substituted ingredients
• Follow all health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products
• Deliver quality and timely guest service to all guests even in periods of high volume
• Maintain a clean work environment to include, workstation, dining area, drink station, etc.
• Follow operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling, safety and security
• Anticipate guest and store needs by evaluating environment and guest for cues
• Engage and communicate with the guest to better understand their needs
• Provide information to the guest by being knowledgeable about the resort
• Obtain West Virginia's Food Handlers certification upon hire

JOB REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to include early mornings, evenings, weekends, night and holidays

PREFERRED

Previous barista / restaurant experience
