NOTE LOCATION : This position is work from home with the applicant's physical location being within a reasonable commute to Anthem office in Brentwood, TN.

Manager I PAC Customer Service

Responsible for providing oversight of a referral services unit for Post-Acute Care (PAC).

How you will make an impact :

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to :

  • Develops, coaches, and mentor referral specialists.
  • Supervises workflow and performance of associates.
  • Accepts overload of incoming and escalated phone calls.
  • Responds to providers and addresses challenges.
  • Provides quality control services.
  • Analyzes team, department, and product-line data to develop and implement action plans for improvement.
  • Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates the performance of direct reports.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements :

Requires a High School diploma and a minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences :

  • Current or previous Team Lead or Supervisor experience strongly preferred.
  • Call Center experience and healthcare experience preferred.
  • BA / BS preferred. Management experience preferred.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
