About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse Job Specialty : Medical Surgical Job Duration : 14 weeks Shift : Night 3x12-Hour (7 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM) Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Minimum 2 years required;
unit does not accept first-time travelers License : GA or Compact license required Certifications : BLS required; ACLS & Interpretation / Management of Dysrhythmias preferred Must-Have : Compliance with submission details and scheduling Job Description : Typical med / surg unit caring primarily for older patients with varying daily diagnoses.
- Patient Population : Adults-Geriatrics- Staffing Ratio : 1 : 6, average daily census of 25.- Systems Used : Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR- Scrubs : Navy Blue required.
- Weekend coverage required every other weekend.- Holidays : Expectation to work if one major holiday falls during the assignment;
if two, work both; if three, two must be worked. Major holidays include Thanksgiving / Black Friday, Christmas Eve and Day, New Year's Eve and Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day.
Orientation consists of 13 non-billable hours.- Candidates must be available to submit core items and complete / schedule labs promptly for an on-time start.
Candidates should be prepared to participate in the assignment fully and comply with all requirements and scheduling needs.
