Job Title : Field Service Technician
Job Description
Candidates will work as field service technicians, driving to different customer locations to perform repairs and maintenance on drink machines.
They will be servicing the New York area.
Equipment Refurbishment :
Disassemble, clean, and inspect equipment to identify any defects or parts that require replacement.
Replace worn-out components and ensure the equipment is reassembled correctly.
Test the functionality of the refurbished equipment to ensure it meets original manufacturing specifications.
Quality Assurance and Inspection :
Conduct thorough inspections to ensure the refurbished equipment meets the company's quality standards.
Perform QA inspections using standard testing procedures to validate equipment functionality and reliability.
Document any issues found during inspection and rectify them promptly.
Skills Needed :
- Mechanical aptitude - using hand tools, experience with regulators, small motors, flowmeters
- Electrical aptitude - troubleshooting with multimeters, wiring
- Troubleshooting and repair
- Inventory control / organization
- Customer interaction / customer service
Work Environment
Service Technicians will be remote, reporting from home to client sites in the Boston area, servicing machines at local client sites / restaurants around the Houston area.
They will drive their own vehicle (receiving mileage) and order / send parts from their house.
Typical schedule is Monday-Friday 9 : 00am-5 : 00pm / 6 : 00pm, depending on customer orders. Potential for weekends is unlikely for now.
