Job Overview : A law firm in Miami, FL, is seeking a skilled Junior to Mid-Level Finance Associate Attorney to join its dynamic team.
This role offers the opportunity to work on internationally recognized matters, focusing on novel financing deals in the energy transition space.
Duties :
- Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
- Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and promptly reply to correspondence.
- Provide timely, accurate, and quality work product.
- Successfully meet deadlines and expectations and perform work duties as required.
- Foster positive work relationships.
- Comply with all firm policies and practices.
- Engage in physical and sedentary activities, including working at a computer for extended periods, participating in digital / virtual conference calls, and attending meetings as needed.
- Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.
Requirements :
- JD degree from an accredited law school.
- 3 years of experience in energy transition finance matters.
- Experience handling transactions in financing and M&A of energy transition projects and companies, with expertise in tax equity and renewable energy tax credit monetization.
- Strong analytical and writing skills.
- Attention to detail and sound business judgment.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
- Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
- Research and problem-solving skills.
- Conceptual thinking and ability to influence others.
- Persuasive communication and management skills.
- Admitted to practice law in Florida.
Education and Certifications :
- JD degree from an accredited law school.
