Precision Pumping Systems is a family-owned, Boise, Idaho based manufacturer of UL listed motor control systems and packaged pumping systems.
We serve customers across the United States in a wide range of markets including irrigation, municipal water, oil & gas, and industrial.

We are looking to add a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) to our team of outstanding software and control systems engineers.
The qualified candidate will perform a dual role of equal importance as follows :
Management :
Work with our Engineering Manager to direct the efforts of our engineering team of seven individuals in development, support and documentation of our products and services as needed to meet our objectives.
Sales :
Promote and assist with specification efforts of our wide variety of motor control products, including custom engineered control panels.
These efforts are directed at the engineering community in the various market segments we serve including municipal sewer & water, mining, oil and gas, food & beverage, and industrial.
Perform sales calls on end users and dealers in conjunction with members of the Sales Team to assist with driving the specifications of our products.
Required Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited university,
- Professional Engineering License with preference given to the Electrical Engineer or Control System Engineer disciplines.
- Five or more years of related industry experience.
- Ability to collaborate with both our Sales and Engineering teams to identify new market opportunities and guide engineering efforts toward these new markets.
- Ability to work directly with customers and specifiers to promote PPS products.
- Willingness to travel both locally and nationally - estimated overnight travel approximately 25%.
