This is a full-time, 100% FTE position, scheduled to typically work Monday through Friday, with core hours between 7 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm, however some off hours may be required.

Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. This position is a hybrid position with your on-site location at University Hospital in Madison, WI.

We are seeking an experienced cardiology RN (Registered Nurse) to :

  • Join our Advanced Heart Disease team and serve as a RN-Clinical Program Coordinator working within a multi-disciplinary team.
  • The CPC is responsible for coordination of efficient, safe and timely program development in conjunction with triad MD partnership.
  • Actively participate in the development and implementation of goals, strategies, and tactics to support the continued growth and success of the program acting as the point person for the program.
  • Participate in department-level work groups and committees to address operational, quality, and safety initiatives.
  • Participate in community education and outreach programs and coordinate patient and referring provider activities.
  • Maintain a database for quality metrics and identify and implement process improvement initiatives.
  • Serve as a resource to staff within the program and to outlying facilities as well as present complex information and quality metrics.
  • Provide expertise within the Heart Failure Program; three years of specific cardiology experience is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Required
  • Master's Degree in business administration, management, public health, or related field Preferred

Work Experience

  • 3 years of work experience in a health care setting Required
  • Experience leading programs and / or project with teams Required
  • Experience in Cardiology and Surgery program development. Knowledge and experience in development, implementation and evaluation of clinical programs Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

Licensed as RN in State of WI Required
