BPN Staffing Solutions is currently seeking a Med Surg RN to fulfill a 13-week contract at a facility in the Wilmington, NC. area.

Essential Functions Collects data pertinent to the healthcare consumer's health or the situation. Analyzes the assessment data to determine actual or potential diagnoses, problems, and issues.

Identifies expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the healthcare consumer or the situation. Develops a plan that prescribes strategies to attain expected, measurable outcomes.

Implements the identified plan, coordinates care delivery, and employs strategies to promote health and a safe environment.

Job Requirements

Requirements / Certifications :

• Minimum Years of Experience : 1 year
• Traveler Experience : Will accept 1st time travelers.
• Locals Accepted / Rate Difference : Yes
• Skills : Administer chemo. Experience in an inpatient setting is required, Med / Surg, Colostomy care, Accessing Ports, Blood Product Administration, Central line blood draw, Peripheral Line Care / Management, PICC line management, Heparin, Insulin, Chemotherapy Administration, Monitoring Chemotherapy, Surgical drains, Chest tubes-Emerson / Pleur-evac, Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Isolation Precautions, Wound Care / Wound Vac
• Certs : Chemotherapy administration certification is required prior to start; required to obtain prior to start. Will accept travelers that do not currently have the ONC cert! BLS.
• PREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP : CPI. Charge nurse experience, OCN

• Estimated weekly gross pay $ 2,880.54-$2,976.54 (w / travel stipend included)
• Shift : Nights available, 4x12
