Job Duties
Position trains & supervises inmate workers in a processing setting. Provides assistance in the transport and delivery of raw milk, pasteurized milk products, ice cream, meat and other food products while promoting customer / vendor relations.
Assists in other agribusiness operations as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma / GED. Valid driver's license. Experience in production line supervision and food handling. General knowledge of agricultural productions.
Proven ability to supervise, follow written and oral instructions, keep accurate records and solve practical problems. Demonstrated skill in teamwork.
Additional Considerations
Commercial driver's license, (CDL) or ability to obtain. Demonstrated ability to operate Class A transportation equipment, on-site movement.
Working knowledge of procurement process. Demonstrated ability to process customer orders and schedule production. Working knowledge and ability to operate plant equipment : receiving, processing, pasteurization, separation, packaging.
Working knowledge and ability and to clean-in-place (CIP) Certification in Appendix N of PMO. Dairy Plant Sampler Permit.
