Direct Patient Care
General Summary / basic PURPOSE OF JOB :
The unlicensed assistant personnel perform(s) direct patient care and a variety of clinical and environmental tasks delegated by, and under the direction of the Registered Nurse.
WORKPLACE CONDITIONS PHYSICAL DEMANDS :
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear.
- The employee is frequently required to stand and walk.
- The employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to 25 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus. .
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
JOB REQUIREMENTS : MINIMUM EDUCATION :
- High School graduate or GED required.
- Graduate of requires Basic Nursing Assistant Program requires MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE :
- Minimum one-year hospital / comparable experience within the last 5 years preferred. REQUIRED LICENSES, CERTIFICATES, REGISTRATIONS :
- Certified by the Illinois Department of Public Health.
- Current CPR Healthcare Provider Status
