- This nursing position is within the Step Down specialty.
- The unit operates like an ICU but at Emory is considered an advanced PCU due to the ratios.
- They take 24hr post CABG cardiac surgery patients with chest tubes.
- Apparently, no vents, they do have LVADs and hospital will give course.
Job Requirements
- Must have 18 months in specialty within the past 3 years.
- GA or compact license in hand.
- ACLS required; vent experience not required.
Schedule Information
- SHIFT : 12N, EOW, float as needed, no call.
- LENGTH OF ASSIGNMENT : 13 weeks.
- AVAILABLE START DATES : Every Monday.

SCRUBS : Navy Blue.

- 50 mile radius- NO LOCAL TRAVELERS.
