Associate Program Manager, Hotel Sales Optimization - Virtual
Job Description

Job Purpose
Supports Hotel Sales Optimization team by managing projects and programs to help ensure compliance, and partners with key member touch points to streamline processes and procedures
Essential Job Results
- Supports Hotel Sales Optimization team in the following sales support areas : events planning, market research, development and design of sales marketing literature.
- Meets program and project requirements by generating outlines, proposals and promotions.
- Identifies, develops and implements recommendations and creative strategies to achieve sales marketing goals for HSO services.
- Coordinates promotional efforts with members and HSO team. May develop advertising messaging to build brand identity and influence decisions.
- Prepares reports by compiling data, tracking and analyzing business plans and metrics. Analyzes data to assess promotional performance.
Makes, presents and defends recommendations.
- Contributes to departments financial compliance by developing or administering annual budgets and negotiating with outside vendors as needed.
- Partners with internal resources to streamline processes and procedures. Evaluate current process, make recommendations on how improve and enhance and then implement.
- Ensures content that is available to hoteliers is relevant and up to date. Adjust as necessary
Experience
2 to 5 years related experience in a hospitality sales environment.
Education
Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Advertising, Communications or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Exhibits personal characteristics and professional standards that serve as a role model for others.
Knowledge
- Familiar with relevant policies, procedures and guidelines specific to job.
- Has professional know how to meet technical standards of assigned area

- Gets messages across that have the desired effect.
Problem Solving
- Resolves defined problems and probes known sources for answers.
- Manages smaller / simpler project, program or process.
Other Requirements
May travel up to 10% of work time.
