LVI are working with a well known mulit-disciplinary company that are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their team.

In this critical role, you will investigate and design a wide range of mechanical systems, including heavy equipment, HVAC, and plumbing systems.

Your expertise will be essential in the design of these systems and the identification of root causes, analyzing data, and providing clear, actionable reports that contribute to improving system reliability and preventing future failures.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design of mechanical systems (HVAC) for a large variety of projects.
  • Visiting project sites to analyze and document existing mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, and electrical conditions.
  • Conduct thorough investigations to determine the cause and origin of mechanical failures.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive investigations.
  • Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and techniques to assess mechanical systems.
  • Provide recommendations for preventing future failures based on investigation findings.
  • Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and best practices.

Qualifications :

  • Experience : Minimum 5 years in Mechanical Engineering
  • Education : Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Certifications : Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred; additional certifications in forensic engineering are a plus.

Skills :

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in diagnostic tools and software used in mechanical investigations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and heavy equipment.
