Description
POSITIONSUMMARY : The Registered Nurse is a clinicalpractitioner who coordinates and implements patient care specificto the age of the patient population served on the assignedunits.
He / she ensures that quality care is provided in anefficient and safe manner, consistent with the unit’s standards ofcare.
He / she demonstrates performance consistent with the mission,philosophy and goals of the unit and organization. Demonstrates quality and effectiveness in work habits and clinicalpractice.
Treats staff, physicians, patients and familieswith consideration andrespect.
Requirements
MINIMUMQUALIFICATIONS :
EDUCATION : High schooldiploma or equivalent, medical terminology required.
CERTIFICATION / LICENSES : N / A
SKILLS :
- Computer knowledge -experience with Windows environment specifically Microsoft OfficeWord and Excel
- Keyboarding skills and theability to operate general office equipment skillsrequired
- Ability to read and write inEnglish
- Bilingual in Spanishpreferred.
EXPERIENCE : One (1)year, but three years of experience in a related health care fieldrequired. Three (3) years preferred.
