Job Description :

Diamond Peak Recruiting is seeking an experienced and dedicated Commercial Construction Superintendent to join our client's team in Raleigh, North Carolina.

The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience managing large-scale construction projects, specifically those valued at $20 million or more.

Our client specializes in a variety of sectors, including education, healthcare, multi-family, and mixed-use projects. The Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations on the construction site, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities :

• Oversee all on-site construction activities to ensure project success from start to finish.
• Manage the construction schedule and coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and project specifications.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
• Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise on the job site promptly and effectively.
• Maintain accurate and detailed daily reports, logs, and project documentation.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
• Enforce safety protocols and promote a culture of safety on the job site.
• Monitor and manage project budgets and resource allocation.
• Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates and address any concerns.

Qualifications :

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction.
• Proven experience managing projects valued at $20 million or more, with a focus on education, healthcare, multi-family, and mixed-use sectors.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
• Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites in Raleigh and surrounding areas.
