LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Human Resources Labor Relations Manager for their client located in the Greater Saginaw-Midland-Bay City Area .

The Employee and Labor Relations Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of employee and labor relations within the organization.

This role involves developing and implementing policies, handling employee grievances, negotiating labor contracts, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop and implement employee relations policies and procedures.
  • Handle employee grievances and disputes in a fair and timely manner.
  • Negotiate and administer labor contracts, including collective bargaining agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Provide guidance and support to management on employee relations issues.
  • Conduct investigations into employee complaints and workplace issues.
  • Develop and deliver training programs on employee relations topics.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of employee relations activities and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with HR and other departments to address employee concerns and improve workplace culture.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in employee and labor relations.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
  • Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Experience with collective bargaining and union relations is preferred.
  • Certification in HR or labor relations is a plus.
