Duration

3-6 Months Contract to Hire

Description Projects and installations of cable and hardware. Traveling within the region of Kansas City. Travel could expand outside of this region based

on workload. Out of town 3-4 weeks at a time, hotel and per diem, use of personal vehicle with mileage and drive time.

We have a project installing equipment inside of retail stores and commercial buildings. This project is calling for a Cable Technician to help with installing Telecom equipment and cables.

We need techs that is very familiar with installing and terminating Cat5 Cable, Fiber Cables, and installing WAP. Techs need to be able to operate a lift.

Cable installation technician for large-scale projects. The working environment will be in Retails building. The majority of the work will be performed on lifts at heights of 30 plus feet.

Overall JD

• Currently looking for project technicians to assist with cable installation at customer sites in the KC area. Travel is expected in these regions of up to two weeks.
• Looking for a project technician familiar with full installations, rack and closet build-out, structured cabling testing, and terminating.

• Pull and terminate Cat5e / Cat6 cable
• Pull and terminate Fiber
• Install and paint Conduit
• Install IDF Cabinets and Racks
• Install Analog / IP Cameras (If they have Camera experience)
• Install Access Points
• Working on 40 '+ Lifts

Duration

3-month min right to hire. Techs will convert 3 to 6 months

Interview process

2 step interview process. Beth will conduct the first interview this week. The PM team will set a video interview for 2nd round.

Travel

Traveling within the region KC. Travel could expand outside of this region based on workload. If out of town travel, hotel, and per diem, use of a personal vehicle with mileage and drive time.

The mileage is .65 cents a mile. Drive time is paid at an hourly rate.

Responsibilities consist of but are not limited to :

• The lead technician will be required to perform all task of the physical installation.
• Extensive travel is required. Per Diem is provided.
• Able to supervise and efficiently layout daily activities for multiple technicians.
• Able to consistently complete projects on time and budget.
• Daily job duties along with the physical install consist of
• Time tracking and online submittal for all technicians assigned to the project.
• Reporting to Project Managers.
• Job site safety paper work.
• Project Change Orders as required.
• Working with onsite customers
