Job Description
We are recruiting a Board-certified or Board-eligible, fellowship-trained non-invasive (non-interventional) Cardiologist to join our established Cardiology Division in Fall River, Massachusetts.
This position involves both outpatient care and inpatient consults, providing a broad scope of cardiology services to a diverse patient population.
Responsibilities :
Manage a large outpatient cardiology practice, offering comprehensive non-invasive cardiac testing.
Conduct hospital consults on a weekly rotating basis at Saint Anne’s Hospital, including interpretation of EKGs, Holter monitors, and cardiac stress tests.
Work closely with hospitalists to manage inpatient duties, including acute myocardial infarctions, congestive heart failure (CHF), dysrhythmias, and temporary pacing wires when needed.
Collaborate with a team of three cardiac nurse practitioners at the hospital to ensure high-quality patient care.
Utilize on-site imaging and testing services to provide patient-centered cardiology care.
Qualifications :
Board Certified / Board Eligible in Cardiology.
Fellowship-trained in non-invasive cardiology.
Proficiency in EKG, echocardiograms, Holter monitoring, and cardiac stress test interpretation.
Experience with outpatient cardiology services including 3-D echocardiography, nuclear stress testing, cardiac CT, and Holter monitoring.
Strong clinical skills in managing inpatient consults, including acute myocardial infarctions, CHF, dysrhythmias, and other acutely-ill cardiac patients.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cardiac nurse practitioners in hospital settings.
