Performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgement and ingenuity to apply prescribed ionizing radiation in order to obtain a radiologic diagnosis.
Assist the Radiologist and / or surgeon during minimally invasive biopsy procedures. Maintain Quality Control standards and documentation.
Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Satisfactory completion of an AMA accredited School of Radiologic Technology. Minimum three years experience in all areas of mammography to include stereotactic biopsy and needle localization.
Digital mammography experience preferred. Registered by and in good standing with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and the Florida Bureau of Radiation Control in the Discipline of Radiology (R) and Mammography (M) Communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills and customer service skills required.
