IN A NUTSHELL

Are you a Commercial Insurance Guru skilled at providing guidance on insurance coverage while developing relationships? As a Commercial Account Manager, you will be primarily responsible for offering advice and expertise to clients to develop an insurance solution that will adequately respond to the client's needs.

In addition, this role will act as a liaison between insurance carriers and clients. Account Managers also work closely with a Producer and a team in the ongoing management of commercial clients to provide exceptional client service and increase revenue on the book of business.

  • You are an expert with the following lines of coverage : Management Liability, Professional Liability, Cyber Liability, Stock Throughput policies (STP), and all other standard lines.

    • Are you client-focused? You will need to make every client interaction stand out for its friendliness, professionalism, and helpfulness.
    • Are you analytical? You will collect information about the client's business through a variety of methods to analyze risks then assess the client's insurance needs and help them with decisions on insurance coverage.
    • Are you organized? You will need to stay focused on different tasks and use your time effectively and efficiently to be proactive and meet deadlines.
    • Are you an excellent communicator? You'll be responsible for communicating with clients by phone and email. Good verbal and written communication skills are essential to providing clear and concise information.

    To comprehend client needs, you will also need to be a good listener. You will need to display empathy and leave a positive impression with the client.

    WHAT YOU NEED

    • An active Property and Casualty license issued by the Texas Department of Insurance. You are also required to fulfill your continuing education requirements to maintain your active license status.
    • Five years of Commercial Account Manager / CSR experience for an insurance agency.
    • Thorough knowledge of commercial insurance policies and coverages.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is a plus.
    • Applied EPIC experience is strongly preferred.
