Job Details
- Position / Specialty : Telemetry RN
- Average Daily Census : 25.
- Years of experience REQ : Minimum 1 year experience required.
- First-timers accepted : Yes.
- Certs REQ : BLS required. ACLS and NIH preferred.
- Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes- will float to like units (MS / Cardiac). Not IMC / ICU.
- Open to accommodating block schedule? Discuss schedule request with manager.
- Locals accepted : Yes- no radius.
- Pending License accepted : No- must have active IL license to apply.
- RTO Restrictions : Ideally no more than 5 days.
- Guaranteed Hours : Client may call-off up to 36 hours per thirteen week assignment without paying for the cancelled hours.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 year experience required.

- Required Work Setting Experience : MS / Tele, Telemetry, Cardiac Telemetry.
- Required Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response Skills / Experience : Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, etc.
- Required Cardiovascular Case Skills / Experience : Post Cardiac Angiogram, Post MI, Pre / Post Cardiac Cath, TR Band, etc.
- Required Endocrine / Metabolic Case Skills / Experience : IV insulin protocols.
- Required IV therapy / Phlebotomy Skills / Experience : Blood Product Administration, Central line care / management, etc.
- Required Medication Skills / Experience : Heparin Protocols, Manage Cardiac drips- no titration, Titrate Cardiac drips.
- Required Respiratory Case Skills / Experience : Chest tubes-Emerson / Pleur-evac, External CPAP / BIPAP, etc.
- Required Professional Topics and Skills : Isolation Precautions, Wound Care / Wound Vac.
Schedule Information
- Shift : 4x12 Nights (1845-0715), can accommodate 3x12s if candidate prefers.
- Weekend REQ : Will work every other weekend (Fri / Sat for night shift, Sat / Sun for day shift).
- Is on-call REQ? No.
