Finance Manager

What we offer

We are looking for a driven individual who wants to learn and to grow as part of our Finance team. This role will provide the property development, finance, and leasing teams with financial planning and analysis support, split between monthly reporting, analysis, and construction project work.

This position is the sole Finance Manager to oversee and manage future construction projects as URW Airports continues to grow.

Scope

  • The Finance Manager will lead all system process enhancements, annual budgeting, Monthly reporting, and quarterly reporting including rolling forecasts.
  • Ensure the consistent inclusion of appropriate project costs in the feasibility and forecasts.
  • Define and develop a dashboard with key business drivers and provide visibility into current and outlook.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of key business drivers, monitoring KPIs and providing feedback / recommendations to senior business and finance leaders.
  • Oversee and review all predevelopment expense budgets and re-forecasts, as necessary.
  • Take ownership of reporting and reviewing key business drivers for construction, development, finance, and leasing, providing insightful and actionable data to the executive in charge and regional team.
  • Sit in and contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual US reporting.
  • Provide leasing executives with information, reports, and analysis as requested.
  • To review, certify, and approve invoices for development projects.
  • Update and understand development and renovation feasibilities, including calculations of yield, IRR, and valuation creation.
  • Review and oversee the re-forecasting of construction, development, design, and other indirect expenses for this project.
  • Provide leasing deal analysis for each leasing deal proposed for approval compared to the feasibility and forecasts to maximize return and perform on the project.
  • Prepare JV Reports as required by the agreement(s).
  • Assist the project team with the calculation of any public funding expected to be received.
  • Reporting directly to the CFO and Head of Development.

  • Advanced and expert user of excel (VBA a Plus).
  • Ability to learn the business, new systems, and new processes, then offer insightful recommendations on how to improve the organization.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong team management and project management skills.
  • Capable of thriving in a team-oriented environment and partner with other finance staff.
  • Ability to simultaneous work on several projects under strict timelines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and heavy workload environment.

Compensation : $106,000 $134,000 + Discretionary Annual Bonus
