Position Title : Technical Trainer
Duration : Contract to hire
Location : Onsite in Hillsboro, Oregon
Pay Range : $27-$33 per hour DOE
Hours : M-F, 8am-5pm (some flexibility)
Job Summary : LHH Recruitment is seeking a Technical Trainer who will be responsible for the effective coordination of various types of trainings for our client's Engineer employees.
Our client, a global organization located in Hillsboro, OR, is seeking someone with strong technical knowledge within the training and development space to take this on, and even bigger plus if you have any exposure to Engineering or machines used for manufacturing semiconductors! This is a brand new role due to our client's growth, allowing you the opportunity to really make this your own.
Key Responsibilities :
- Create and implement training courses for Engineers and various employees within the organization.
- Conduct surveys and evaluate effectiveness of current training materials and tools, while also implementing new processes.
- Conduct maintenance on used training tools.
- Understand full knowledge of the tools used in order to effectively train new hires as well as continuous learning for other employees.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred in Engineer or similar preferred.
- Demonstrated experience working on machines or tools, or as an Engineer.
- Strong technical knowledge of machine manufacturing and the ability to train on complex concepts.
- Experience working in the manufacturing or semiconductor industry is a big plus.
- Experience using an LMS system is a big plus.
- Strong organization and communication.
Pay Details : $27.00 to $33.00 per hour
