Bartender
Toledo Zoo & Aquarium

Our Food Services team is in search of people who are passionate about learning new things and giving our guests the best possible experience.
Under direct supervision from full time staff, this position is responsible for Bartending during events at various sites and concession stands.
This position is non-exempt part-time position under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
Essential Job Functions *Duties will include, but are not limited to the following*
- Displaying high energy and the desire to work in a fun filled, fast paced environment
- Bartending during events at various sites and concession stands, while operating a Point-of-Sale system
- Following all policies and procedures when taking and serving beverage orders, pulling and polishing glassware, inventorying alcohol, and accurately recording usage
- Setting up multiple bars in multiple areas for events
- Clearly reading and writing various reports and consumption records.
Minimum Training & Qualifications :
- Must be 21 years of age
- Bartending experience required
- Strong customer service and communication skills and general knowledge of food and beverage standards.
- Must have the physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work on your feet, and be outside in winter and summer elements for several hours at a time.
- Flexibility to work schedules include weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays.
